College Studio Projects
My education at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo offered a rigorous and rewarding foundation for my career. Guided by knowledgeable professors, I was encouraged to refine my personal style and design process while also engaging in collaborative studio work. Projects often bridged disciplines, bringing together landscape architecture students with peers in architecture, art, graphic design, and construction management. In that creative exchange, I discovered how my instincts for planning, visual storytelling, and leadership could grow into reliable skills. Those years not only grounded me in the discipline of landscape architecture but also gave me the confidence to move forward as a thoughtful, intentional designer.

In Vision - Swanton Pacific Ranch Santa Cruz, CA
Our Mission: To InVision a new Swanton Pacific Ranch through the 3 stage process of EXPOSING and RECOGNIZING the process of fire in the landscape, CELEBRATING this process through human interaction, and ENVISIONING a future that re-imagines educational and sustainable design.
Originally known as “The Cowboy Shack”, Rustic Ranch blends functional needs with aesthetic, where students learn all there is to know about land management, livestock (big and small), tool and equipment design, and more. This is one of many learning opportunity spaces designed for Swanton Pacific Ranch in the project InVision.
Way finding plays a big role in the overall redesign of Swanton. This project, consisting of many “hubs” throughout the site, needed a consistent style and direction for visitors and students.
